Our approach
We offer up to date wound and ulcer management tailored for each patient, with a view to healing an ulcer or wound as soon as possible. This can be in a clinical setting or in the comfort of the patients’ own home.

Why Choose Us?
Too often, wounds and ulcers are overlooked or mismanaged, leading to prolonged healing and unnecessary suffering. A lack of specialised knowledge and timely diagnosis can leave patients with a chronic wound that carries a significant physical and psychological burden – often underestimated.
At The Wound Clinic, we aim to change that, providing expert, personalised care that accelerates healing and improves quality of life.
Multidisciplinary Approach
Consultations at The Wound Clinic are led by a senior consultant vascular and transplant surgeon, with input from other specialties when appropriate. A collaborative, multidisciplinary approach brings together deep expertise across disciplines—an evidence-based model shown to deliver the best outcomes in wound and ulcer care. At The Wound Clinic, we offer a gold-standard level of care to every patient.

What type of wounds do we treat?
We will try and heal any wound presented to us.
We have a proven track record in healing the following wounds; venous ulcers, arterial ulcers, diabetic-related wounds, trauma related wounds, post-surgical wounds including wounds occurring after plastic surgical procedures (abdominoplasty, breast reconstruction, thigh and arm lifts etc), cancer related wounds e.g. breast, trauma related wounds, pressure ulcers with a specialist interest in patients with paraplegia/tetraplegia and burn wounds.
“It’s not just about treating the wound – it’s also about caring for the person living with it. A non-healing wound is distressing and I understand the importance of achieving full healing as quickly as possible”
Jeremy Crane, Consultant Surgeon and The Wound Clinic Medical Director
